Dan Hull brings extensive experience in sales, marketing, operations, education, and management. In addition to over twenty years in the wine and spirits industry, Dan has worked in K-12 education, construction, equipment repair, and retail. He has developed SOPs for several companies as well as training programs. During his time as a beverage retail General Manager, he implemented strategies that lead to increased sales and profit growth, enhanced productivity, and improved efficiency ratios. Dan’s instructional development experience includes customer service and management training in beverage retail, staff wine training in restaurants, product knowledge training for wholesale sales reps, technology micro training for retail pharmacy, sales process training for swimming pool construction, safety training in multiple industries, and K-12 instructional materials. In addition to his experience developing instructional materials, Dan has a diverse background in technology, working with an array of enterprise, productivity, and content creation applications including but not limited to Adobe Captivate, Articulate, Adobe Creative Suite, Blackboard, Canvas, Moodle, Google Workspace, AWS Lightsail and Amplify, SAP, Microsoft 365 Apps, and Microsoft Project.
Dan’s goal is to provide affordable and effective solutions for small and medium-sized businesses.
Before starting D Hull solutions, Dan Hull worked for several years in the heavy equipment industry before moving to education where he holds teaching licenses in English and Science. As a teacher, he served on many special projects, including grant writing, textbook implementation, and program development. He worked in the beer, wine, and sprits industry for over 20 years in retail and wholesale, serving as General Manager for Friendship Wine & Liquor and GM/Operating Partner at Beards Hill Liquors, earning the Beverage Dynamics Top 100 retailer distinction three times. As a wine specialist, Dan worked in the Aspect Division of Breakthru Beverage where he developed a marketing program to support increased distribution of luxury wines in fine dining restaurants and fine wine retailers. Additionally, he developed training for wine sales professionals as well as staff training for restaurants and retailers. He holds a WSET 3 level credential in wine.
